Now that your session date is confirmed (YAY!), you should start planning for it right now! This means you decide on a desired color scheme and plan outfits. When your outfits are coordinated, your photos will feel more cohesive.

Session day can be stressful and exciting, but I promise there is nothing to be nervous about! All I ask is that you come prepared, stay open-minded, and trust that I will take care of the rest!
step 02: Session day
Once I have collected your finished photos, I will place them inside my gallery portal and send you a direct link to your own photo gallery. From this portal, you can purchase and download your keepsake photos.
step 03: Gallery Delivery
Photos weren't meant to be stored on your device. They should be admired in your home and bring warmth into your life. Your one-of-a-kind album will be perfectly crafted to showcase your photos and protect your memories.

You've made it to session day! As you approach your session, keep in mind these 2 things:

Within 2 weeks from your session your edited gallery will be ready to view. I offer in studio gallery reveals to view your images on full screen and take in the entire beauty of your session. This allows you to touch and feel the products such as albums, frames, treasure boxes, etc. and we can design wall galleries and albums with your favorite images. I also offer skype gallery reveals as well as online gallery reveals, if travel to my studio is prohibitive.
06. when can we see our images and order?
Yes life happens! Especially when dealing with young children, people can become sick suddenly and unexpectedly. I always request you let me know as soon as possible if someone in your group is not feeling well, and we will reschedule for the next available date.
In the case of bad weather we will reschedule as well - no worries!
05. What about rain? Or illness? Can we reschedule?
Newborn Sessions are typically held in my studio in Frederick, MD as I have access to all of my beautiful props, headbands, knit hats, blankets and handmade/vintage items to include. I can also come to your home however for an in-home lifestyle newborn session if you prefer no props and a more organic vibe. Both options result in gorgeous imagery of your baby.
04. Should we choose an In-home lifestyle or studio newborn location?
All sessions include access to my studio wardrobe and a professional styling website. These additions have allowed for an elevated white glove approach to making your session flawless and exquisite. I look for clothing that has movement, fits flatteringly, and is timeless, to keep your images classic and authentic.
03. What should we wear?
I'll provide gentle guidance in posing, and prompts to get the authentic laughs and smiles from your family. I'll be photographing both still images as well as video film, to provide two beautifully unique methods of documenting you together. Most families say they love sessions because they get to see their parents really let loose and play with them - which is a highlight!
02. What happens at the session?
The day we meet, I’ll arrive and want to scope out the best light and locations – we’ll be creative and find some unique places to showcase your personality. We will be together about 1 hour on site (or 2 hours for newborn sessions - depending on feedings) capturing your family in beautiful candid and posed images.
